All proceeds after packing and shipping costs will go to Amma Birth Companions, a Glasgow based charity. This will be roughly £20 per sale. Proof of charitable donation will be sent out to every purchaser.

Each cup represents one hour of the 1800 average hours a mother is expected to breast / chest feed their baby in the first year. Each cup has a volume of 120ml, akin to the average feed a baby takes.

Each cup is a reminder of the enormous invisible efforts of mothers and primary feeders, no matter how they feed their babies, in the context of our state failing to support them.

Made with porcelain from Limoges, France. Glazed internally to hold liquid.
Each cup is numbered as an edition of 1800 with an oxide pen. Approx. 8 × 8cm. Each is unique, unturned and sometimes with imperfections.
